Welcome to the McAdoo
Photography Bio Page
Thank You for visiting the home of McAdoo Photography! For many years we
have traveled the beautiful places of the USA and the world to
photograph it's many wonders. We live at about 6000 feet in the
foothills of the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Many of our
photographs are from this area, so don't be surprised to see
Hummingbirds or Big Horn Sheep among our collection!
Each month we will put up a new gallery from a few of the places we have
journeyed. To date, we have visited 40 countries and have traveled
extensively all over the USA by road, the ONLY way to see our country,
visiting many of our National Parks and National Wildlife Refuges as
well as the occasional city or town.
About the Digital Process:
We now specialize in digital artistry and work almost exclusively in the
Digital Darkroom. The Digital Camera equipment we are currently using
consists of Olympus DSLR's with Olympus & Sigma Lenses. We have
also used Canon, Nikon’s & Sony Digital Cameras.
Once back in the office, we use Adobe Photoshop to work with our digital
files making whatever adjustments are necessary to achieve the effects
we are looking for in each shot, then print our works on various Giclee'
Photo printers using all high quality Archival Inks and Papers.
